Riverview House
Dunrobin, Ontario
This 1970s home overlooking the Ottawa River was extended to provide a new master bedroom, enlarged living room and a new sunroom. Partitions between the hallway were removed to create a continuous open space, anchored by the new horseshoe shaped kitchen. The staircase was relocated to the centre of the home and lit from above with a new roof lantern. The original brick and wood exterior cladding was replaced with Kingston limestone and stucco. A new circular terrace links the sunroom with the existing pool patio area.
