"Enlarge an existing bungalow and create a connection to the exterior" were the instructions from the garden-loving owners of this property. The original plan was to renovate but cost analysis evolved to a new prefabricated modular construction on the existing foundation.
The owners wanted "a simple, unassuming bungalow" but also wanted to accommodate a collection of antique furniture in a distinctively modern house. In response, the interior was detailed in a simple, classically modern way to create a museum-like setting for fine furniture and paintings.

"Chris created a unique, enduring style of home crafted to the way we live both inside and out. He inspired us to take a full part in the creation of a dwelling naturally set into the landscape, and gave of ideas unstintingly, and paid attention to detail precisely. Altogether the experience was a grand success."
