This compact home has wide open views to the forest which borders its outdoor spaces. Stone-clad columns define the structure of the home at both the exterior and interior to "bring the outdoors in." A screened porch and covered exterior seating area with a fireplace and BBQ stretch the seasonal use of the outdoor living areas.
The kitchen, dining and living spaces are interconnected to maximize the sense of spaciousness while ceiling vaults and cabinetry subtly divide functions and selectively screen the views into the kitchen.
Teak cabinetry, dark quartz stone counters, porcelain tiled living areas and cumaru wood flooring in the bedrooms all provide a tactile, enveloping and calm interior.
Awards
Christopher did a marvelous job of listening to our many ideas and developing them into our dream home. His talent with colour, texture, and materials created a space which is truly magnificent. The award winning kitchen is elegant and functional- a pleasure to enjoy daily. Our home's integration with the forest, passive solar elements and the delightful way the interior spaces respond to changing light make it a joy to live in.
