The extensive renovation and enlargement of this hill top house in Caledon, Ontario comprises a new bedroom wing, home theatre, front entry and observation tower.

The new master bedroom wing culminates in a pavilion modeled on a Japanese lantern. The pyramidal skylight roof is capped with a timber shade structure to accentuate its connection with the sky and bring playful shade patterns to the interior. Newly developed landscape terraces capture dramatic views of the countryside and a swimming pond far below.
