This office began as a warehouse - 12,000 sq.ft. of cold, dark storage space. The client, 4té inc., wanted their new office to be modern, minimalist, eco-friendly and functional - while maintaining the loft feel of the original warehouse. Through the replacement of garage doors with storefront glazing and the strategic addition of openings in the existing walls, the interior is now a bright workspace - full of natural light. It also gives employees a great view to the outside - providing an interaction with their surroundings.

It was important to the client that this be an environmentally responsible renovation. Modifications to the exterior through increased insulation and recladding, and better daylighting has resulted in greatly improved energy efficiency.
